There are two golf clubs, Cambodia Golf & Country Club and Royal Cambodia Phnom Penh Golf Club in Cambodia as of January 2004. Between the two I'd like to introduce you to Royal Cambodia Golf Club, located 8km northwest from Pochentong international airport, which I always play.

On the way to Sihanouk Ville on the route 4th, turn the to the right on this sign. An unpaved red clay road will lead you to the club. Although there is not far from Phnom Penh city atmosphere is a pastoral. I love this country road but one thing trouble is its dust.

One reasons of my favorite of this road is to across local station. With the arrival of train to Battambang, the station suddenly becomes animated. Early in the morning, around 07:30 you can see this active scene certainly. |
Command a bird's-eye view of the course I had a chance to look down upon the golf course when I flied to Ratanakiri. The course is really flat reflection of level country of Cambodia. Instead of that number of ponds are placed every fairway with skill. For beginners like me, I was started to have golf lesson 4 months ago, these water hazards are big problems.
I'm very bad at over pond tee shot of the 3rd hole. As I missed it every time, my target for present is don't hit my ball into the pond. I need someone to teach me golf. Help me ! |
