Toba Sea-Folk Musum has more than 30,000 actual items. The main theme is "Man's relation to the ocean and history".It is based on seven sub themes,- tradition,myth and religion, pollution, fishing, contest of wits between fisherman and fish, old wooden boat and women diver "Ama".

| At Geku, a ceremony is held every day to offer food to Amaterasu-Omikami. According to some book, Amaterasu's favorite food is "Noshi-awabi". I wonder about@that. |

Ama : dressed in traditional white clothes Ise-Shima Peninsula, which is surrounded by the sea, abounds in fish and shells. Women divers or Ama search for abalone deep on the ocean floor. (Japanese abalone almost inhabit on the rocks of the seabed, not on the kelp bed). It's very dangerous works, so Ama wears a special amulet called Seman Doman that protects them from peril. |

Nowadays many of them wear on wetsuits but they never forget amulets of "Seman Doman".
