Ferry to Bagan

Sunrise

Our boat left Mandalay at 6:00 in the morning.
We saw beautiful sunrise at Inwa Railway Bridge (Ava Bridge)

The boat trip from Mandalay to Bagan is popular among travelers, every Monday Thursday and Saturday there are three shipping service to Bagan. As it's cost 16US$, I paid 18US$ for the ticket at the hotel reception. They earned 2US$ for commission ! "Oh, I might have take it at ticket counter".

At 5 o'clock in the evening we landed at sandy bank of Bagan. It took 11-hurs from Mandalay. As there is no pier we had to climb up this slope carry baggage on our back.
